Description
Summary:This article seeks to understand how cultural entrepreneurship can guide the formation of public policies based on the creative industry. The qualitative research, based on interviews with cultural entrepreneurs and political agents in the city of Camaçari, in Bahia, revealed challenges such as the lack of infrastructure and tax incentives, but also highlighted the cultural potential and local artistic diversity. The creation of public-private partnership programs through tax incentives, cultural incubators and cultural calendars are effective options to strengthen the sector. The study suggests that integrated and sustainable public policies are important to promote innovation, revitalize the local economy and value cultural identity, contributing to the socioeconomic development of Camaçari.
