| Resumo: | This article intends to establish dialogues between sexuality and LGBT students to investigate spatial differences between city sizes and residence location. The theoretical field of analysis is Cultural Geography, from the post-structuralist perspective, in dialogue with feminist methodologies, to understand the results of the study. A virtual questionnaire was used with university students, whose answers point to lgbtphobia as a social problem, varying according to each socio-spatial context. In this way, it is urgent to have a more humanized and comprehensive Geography of the daily discriminations which govern the subjects, in order to destabilize the practices of prejudice and discrimination. Thus, in this way, we can finally count on a Geography that is not only technical, but humanized, that is concerned with marginalized spaces and subjects and contributes to an education through differences and also for differences, praising the social function of schools and universities, in in favor of a society that seeks otherness, equity and plurality as principles of a better democratic coexistence. |
