| Resumo: | The series of Data Base Administration laboratories with PostgreSQL, shows in a practical way the administration of this type of systems, which has a wide use in the software development industry. While databases are the tool required by companies that need to store the information they generate, it is in this type of system where this information is stored. Hence the importance of understanding and applying the standard management concepts used in the industry. The PostgreSQL system is used because it offers the mechanisms that other similar but proprietary systems have.
