Descripción
Sumario:This text examines a short story by Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, Paper from Ramallah. It centers on the humanist perspective that drives his literary realism, and on the foundation of the ethos that the author builds in the particular context of the Zionist occupation of Palestine. To direct the analysis, a distinction between the humanist perspective, located in the field of ethics, and a moralist perspective is made, based on the Marxian critique of morality and the Lukácsian defense of realism and humanism.
