Resumo:Herbert Simon disseminated his bounded rationality approach in his vast academicproduction. The recognition of the complex environment and the cognitive limits ledhim to study about the use of heuristics in the decision-making. Around this idea, anew path to the study of human decisions has been developed. More recently, DanielKahneman and Amos Tversky have analysed the relation between heuristics and biasesof behaviour, and this approach has gained great space in the academic world. Thispaper discusses the Simon´s, Kahneman and Tversky’s contributions and proposes apromising complement to the construction of foundations of Behavioural Economy.
