| Sumario: | This study presents aspects about children neurodevelopment, specifically during the first six years of life, a period recognized as Early Childhood, in addition to synthetically addressing the structure and maturation of the Nervous System, as well as the role of early experiences to children’ development. The study is a qualitative research supported by theoretical foundations collected through literature review in authors from Neurosciences, Psychology and Education fields such as Bee and Boyd (2011), Cosenza and Guerra (2011), Domingues (2007), Kandel (2014), Lent (2019), Papalia, Olds and Feldman (2006), Carrazoni (2016), Oliveira and Lent (2018) and Polo and Santos (2018). The data presented indicate that the brain development is a complex and dynamic process conditioned to biological, cultural and environmental aspects, strengthening the importance of pedagogical practice in Early Childhood Education for human neurodevelopment. |
