Summary:Gamification is a recent technique that involves applying elements of the game in contexts outside the game. There are theoretical frameworks that suggest a model to apply these elements in the implementation of concrete solutions. This article discusses two learning management systems, Classcraft and Moodle, under the lens of the Octalysis framework. Even though the two platforms provide various elements of the game, which combined with each other seek to increase the motivation of the students.
