description La investigación titulada “Implementación de un módulo de control y seguimiento para mejorar la gestión del trámite documentario en la Municipalidad Distrital deCayaltí,2018”. La investigación es tipo básica, descriptivo correlacional dado que se ha descrito y caracterizado la dinámica de cada una de las variables en estudio, por otro lado el diseño fue de tipo no experimental, ya que no se manipuló ni sometió apruebas las variables de estudio. La población y muestra es de 100 colaboradores administrativos de la Municipalidad Distrital de Cayaltí que manejan directamente la información al proceso documentario. Con la finalidad de comprobar el desarrollo de la investigación, se utilizó un test tipo Likert, elaborado por los autores de lapresenteinvestigación,queconstóde15preguntascerradasreferentesa lagestióndocumentalactual,15preguntascerradasreferentesa la implementación de un módulo informático de gestión documental. Los instrumentos utilizados son la guía de observación y encuesta para los colaboradores administrativos involucrados con el proceso documental. Al concluir la investigación, los resultados evidenciaron que actualmente la aplicación del módulo informático de control y seguimiento del trámite documentario mejora la calidad del servicio en la entidad investigada.
