Ethics and TTP, with their political implications (adequate theory), should not and cannot be, in radice, based on metaphysical assumptions (divine Jesus and universal love), but on conatus. The creativity of the conatus makes its activity essential (praxic).El interés de Spinoza por el personaje Jesús es, fundamentalmente, el «Cristo según el espíritu», pues es en su espíritu donde se ha manifestado la «sabiduría de Dios» (=Naturaleza, se trata de un dios sin dios, no trascendente), pues el espíritu («especie de autómata espiritual») despliega un orden autónomo de sus propias ideas (TIE 85), tanto así como para proponerlo como referente de convivencia (políticamente) y suprimir el temor (TIE 1, E4P54 y P63E, TP 1, 5). La Ética y el TTP, con sus implicaciones políticas (teoría adecuada), no debe ni puede ser, in radice, fundamentada en supuestos metafísicos (el Jesús divino y el amor universal), pero sí en el conatus.
