This paper presents a study on the model of composition and appointment of the Constitutional Court of Italy, which could be useful for the reflection of those adopted in other constitutional experiences.La designación de los jueces de los tribunales constitucionales ha sido un aspecto delicado para su conformación desde sus orígenes, debido a que las fuerzas políticas son conscientes de las atribuciones que tienen estos órganos en la resolución de importantes problemas sociales, y en este punto no están dispuestas a renunciar a ejercer cierta influencia en los mismos, proyectando ese propósito desde los procesos de integración y renovación de los jueces.
