It tries to answer the research-question: how do BP and Spanish rhotic systems interact for the construction of Brazilian learners interphonology? Basic hypothesis indicates rhotic interphonology construction will depend on learner"™s BP dialect, as well as by its phonotactic realization. This a bibliographic research based on the findings of scholars such as Cristófaro-Silva (2013), Bisol (2010) and Lima (2013), which deal with BP phonological system, whilst Izquierdo (2010) and Fernández (2007) focus on Spanish phonology. The study also discusses researchers whose work involves BP-Spanish interphonology, such as Silva (2007) e Carvalho (2004). At last, the article focuses on the studies of Masip (2005) and Brisolara & Semino (2014) which deal with the phonological systems of both BP and Spanish in a holistic way, emphasizing interphonology challenges that may arise.Este trabalho tem como objetivo comparar os sistemas fonológicos dos róticos do espanhol e do português brasileiro (PB), bem como discutir a interfonologia, envolvendo aprendizes brasileiros de espanhol lí­ngua estrangeira (ELE). Assim, a presente pesquisa parte da seguinte pergunta: de que maneira o sistema rótico do PB e do Espanhol interagem na construção da interfonologia de aprendizes brasileiros? A hipótese básica aponta que a construção da interfonologia dos róticos vai depender do dialeto do PB do aprendiz e, adicionalmente, pela posição fonotática em que os róticos são realizados. O trabalho é de cunho bibliográfico com base em autores como Cristófaro-Silva (2013), Bisol (2010) e Lima (2013) que tratam do sistema fonológico do PB, e Izquierdo (2010) e Fernández (2007) que tratam do sistema fonológico do espanhol. O artigo também discute autores cujo trabalho envolve a interfonologia dos róticos PB-espanhol, como é o caso de Silva (2007) e Carvalho (2004).
