The research is characterized as qualitative. Data were analyzed using the Content Analysis method. The results show that it is possible to identify the functions of the pedagogical game, Evaluative Educational Function, diagnostic capacity of the game, Formative Educational Function, ability of the game to promote conceptual discussion, Immersive Playful Function, ability of the game to promote immersion, Moral Playful Function, ability of the game to allow students to play as equals, respecting the rules and the Teacher's Balance Function, responsible for balancing the four functions.
